• The Young Entrepreneur
Program
A unique grant to help you start your business
if you are less than 36 years old.
Are you less than 36 years old ?
Do you want to start your own business ?
You have :
- A sound business idea
- A commitment to work full time in your business
- A reasonable amount of money to invest in the project
Then we have an opportunity for you
We offer :
Grants up to $6 000 per entrepreneur,
between the age of 18-35,
up to a maximum of $12,000 per business.
Coaching to help you prepare and validate your business
plan,
through our sub-contractor, Saje.
Guidance in obtaining additional financing.
Additional Grants of up to $1 000 to pay for business related
training.
Training in business start-up.
Personalized coaching and follow-up.
Conditions of eligibility :
The business must be in one of our territory,
Mont-Royal,
Outremont or Westmount.
The project must be a new one and create at least one full
time job.
The promoters must present a complete business plan.
The promoters must invest an amount at least equal to the

we provide coaching and follow up
Our conditions :
The business must be in one of our
territories, Mont-Royal,
Outremont or Westmount.
The project must create new jobs.
The shareholder must invest at least 20%
of the total project costs.
* Opening fees are minimum $200
or 1% of the amount of the loan requested.
Advantages of the FLI :
No collateral security or personal guarantees.
Repayment flexibility.
Increased working capital.
* A loan from the FLI cannot be
used to refinance existing debts.
